Day 11: Something you hate about the series.
How rushed the ending was.
Day 12: A character you wish hadn’t died:
Finnick
I applied for the study abroad program that I really want to get into. I filled out the application online and now I am waiting to hear from them for the next step but it’s taking too long! I’m so anxious! I don’t think that I’ll get in… but I hope I do!
Day 10: Peeta or Gale?
I have a problem with this question. My answer is obviously Peeta and it has been the entire series, but I don’t like the question because it comes dangerously close to Twilight’s infamous Team Jacob or Team Edward movement.
day 9: your favorite quote:
Obviously:
“May the odds be ever in your favor.”
day 7: A scene that made you cry.
I cried equally as hard when Prim died and when Finnick died but I was more sad when Finnick died. I love him.
day 8: the character you are most like:
I guess Foxface, just because I’m definitely not brave enough to be any other character. If I were in the hunger games I would hide just like she did.
Day 6: A scene that made you laugh.
Of course, the scene when Finnick is walking around the hospital without any pants on.
“Finnick?” I say, “Maybe some pants?”
He looks down at his legs as if noticing his outfit for the first time. Then he whips off his hospital gown leaving him in just his underwear. “Why? Do you find this” — he strikes a ridiculously provocative pose — “distracting?”
I laugh. Boggs looks embarrassed and Finnick looks more like the guy I met at the Quarter Quell.
I laughed so hard at this part. I love Finnick.
I missed a couple of days so here you go:
Day 3: A character you hate that everyone loves
Gale, but not just because I love Peeta so much. He let the rebellion get the best of him in the third book and, in my opinion, he turned pretty evil.
Day 4: A character you love that everyone hates
Effie Trinket
Day 5: Your favorite fight/battle scene
I don’t know if this really counts but the fight between Katniss, Clove, and Thresh in the first book is probably my favorite, but that’s just because I love Thresh so much.
The Hunger Games is an awesome trilogy by Suzanne Collins and you should definitely read all three! The first one is titled The Hunger Games, the second is Catching Fire and the third is Mockingjay.
Also, they are being made into movies and the first one is coming out in March 2012!
